Even though we already have our top names picked out, this book was fun to read through and it reminded me of other names I've loved (will note in case I have 6 more kids/dogs). ALSO, 3 of the featured names are Piper, Fox, and Luna… my pups are so hip! Hilarious, seriously - not just some of the names but his comments/facts on said names are awesome.
I did actually find some great future pet names though.

A funny book with baby names... for hipsters (and for anyone looking for names for pets or kids (yes, this book can work well for pets, too)). I am by means no hipster but I love these funny baby name books. Especially when there are comments on why you should (or shouldn't as this book also has those comments) pick a name. There are tons of references to pop culture (as expected), talk about mason jars and lattes/coffee, and more. I loved and laughed at the names that were picked. I am by means no hipster but I love these funny baby name books. Especially when there are comments on why you should (or shouldn't as this book also has those comments) pick a name. There are tons of references to pop culture (as expected), talk about mason jars and lattes/coffee, and more. I loved and laughed at the names that were picked. Some I would definitely use myself, and others... I spotted some names common to my country, and many many more that are not and had me doubting people who named their kids this (then again, this reminds me of a Dutch person who wrote a book about all the weird names Dutch people gave their kids in the past years). ...more

Literally so funny. There are just as many great suggestions as there are ridiculous ones, and which is which is totally up to you... this is actually a pretty decent baby name inventory for new parents who don't want names that are super overdone/tired. Even if you don't find the perfect name, you'll get a lot of inspiration, a good laugh, and it's the perfect thing to gift/re-gift. Literally so funny. There are just as many great suggestions as there are ridiculous ones, and which is which is totally up to you... this is actually a pretty decent baby name inventory for new parents who don't want names that are super overdone/tired.
